Painted metal parts are important parts and play a very important role in the products of various industries. A company is a manufacturer of painted metal parts. It needs to accurately measure the color difference of the finished product to ensure the quality of the product. Therefore, we are looking to use the spectrophotometer CS-580 (Figure 2) to test the painted metal.

Step 2: After the black and white calibration is completed, press the “Print” button to first position the measurement area, and align the standard to be tested with the test hole. Be careful not to leak light to avoid affecting the test result. Press “Test” button, “Drop”. Complete the measurement after the sound and check the test results (Figure 5);

Step 3: After the above standard measurement is completed and saved, press the “Menu” button to enter the “Sample Measurement” interface under the standard, and align the sample with the test hole according to the standard measurement method. Press the “Test” button to measure, and the “drip” sound to complete the color difference measurement, and the measurement result can be obtained (Figure 6).

After the measurement is completed, the specific color difference data of the test can be clearly seen from the instrument screen. The customer is very satisfied with the test results, and the spectrophotometer CS-580 is purchased on the spot.
