The following describes how to measure the color difference of buttons through the combination of CS-828 and PC software.
1. Install the instrument, connect the instrument to the computer, turn on the instrument, connect the instrument with the power cord, turn on the power, press the power button on the side of the instrument to start up, and connect the instrument with the computer host with the data cable.

For black-and-white calibration, place the black-and-white calibration plate in the designated area of the stage (the four apertures in the center area of the stage just match the base of the calibration plate), find the black calibration and white calibration options in the menu bar of QC software, click the black calibration option to conduct black calibration, and click the white calibration option to conduct white calibration.
4. Measure the standard sample and sample.
(1) Place the standard sample on the loading platform to ensure that the laser is hit on the high point area of the standard sample. It is forbidden to hit the laser in the aperture or on the loading platform outside the standard sample (if the operation is improper, the standard sample will hit the test port panel and cause instrument damage). Click “measuring standard sample” on the main interface of software QC to measure the standard sample data. After measuring the standard sample, place the sample on the stage (the placement requirements are the same as above), and click “test sample” to test the standard sample data.
(2) Select the test area according to the scanned images when measuring the standard sample and sample, and then add the test data of the selected area.
After the test data is added, various data of test standard sample and sample will appear on the interface.
5. After the test is completed, click the “save as” option to save the test data. The data can be saved in. QTX,. Colors and. CSV. The saved data can be viewed in the corresponding file.
