CS-600 spectrophotometer for reflectivity measurement of sprayed materials
The spraying process is widely used in all walks of life. The spraying operation has high production efficiency and is suitable for manual operation and industrial automation production. The application range is mainly in the fields of hardware, plastics, furniture, military, ship, etc. It is the most common one in today’s applications. The coating method; for example, the reflector of the lamp and the barium sulfate inside the integrating sphere are all sprayed.
The requirements for the reflectivity of the material after spraying are getting higher and higher. However, the photoelectric integrated color measuring instrument can only measure the color information, and can not measure the reflection spectrum of the surface. Only the spectroscopic color measuring instrument can measure the object table at different wavelengths. Reflectance, such as CS-580, CS-600, CS-610, CS-660, a series of spectrophotometers can measure the reflection spectrum of the spray material.
For example, the spray plate shown in the following figure uses a CS-600 spectrophotometer to measure the reflectivity of this spray material.
Turn on the machine and perform black and white calibration on the instrument.
Place the test sample under the instrument test port to ensure that the sample is in close contact with the test port to prevent ambient light from entering the measurement system.
Press the test button to measure the sample and get the color parameter value, as shown in the figure below.
By selecting the display content as the spectral reflectance, the spectral reflectance of the sample surface is displayed, as shown in the following figure:
The up and down keys can be used to move the cursor to show the reflectance at each wavelength, as shown in Figure 550nm, with a reflectivity of 96.50
The instrument is connected to the computer software via a USB cable. After measurement, the software displays the reflectance spectrum of the sample and the spectral reflectance of each wavelength. You can save the data to excel by saving and keep the file for subsequent data analysis.
